Shuttle Barebone XS35 a stylish mini media PC

Shuttle Barebone XS35 is a neat little mini that easily takes its place beside, or behind, your big flat-screen TV in the living room. The computer measuring only 3.3 centimeters in thickness and Shuttle are planning to show up a bunch at CeBIT.

Small portable hard drive from Verbatim

For some reason, we have a penchant for small storage devices, so it's no wonder that Verbatim new 1.8-inch hard disk of 250 GB attract our eyes. The device is small enough to lose your shirt pocket.

Verbatim Pocket Drive is an external hard drive that is based around a 1.8-inch disk. Most small external hard drives usually have a 2.5-inch disk, so Pocket Drive is unusually small. The device weighs 85 grams and measuring 90x64x14 mm in size.

The hard drive connects via USB port and requires no external power supply. Pocket Drive is the manufacturer compatible with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7, and Mac OS X 10.1 and higher.

Software provided in the form of backup utility Dmailer and synchronization tool Verbatim SyncSoftware. Verbatim Pocket Drive is not yet in stores but has a price tag of around 1500 dollars.

1.1 million mobile broadband in Sweden

Mobile broadband has become hugely popular in Sweden. According to statistics, there are currently 1.1 million registered accounts for mobile broadband in the country, and it seems to be a figure that is increasing all the time.

Trendscends MP860 Multimedia in your pocket

Trendscend MP860 is a new portable media player with a price tag that is more affordable than its more advanced competitors iPod Touch and the like. You can listen to music, watch pictures and movies, and battery life is fine on its up to 22 hours.

Media Player MP860 comes in two versions - one black with 4 GB of internal memory and a white with 8 GB. If memory is not enough, you can expand it with a memory of type microSD ormicroSDHC .

The screen on the MP860 measuring 2.4 inches and can handle the resolution 240 x 320 pixels. There is no resolution I would like to watch the film in, but it'll do for video clips from such YouTube. Mini PCs ( netbooks as they are called in English) has become hugely popular.Statistics show that one in four computer sold today is a mini computer. Most manufacturers have at least one model in their range, and there will always more. But what should you buy? it and we'll answer in this articles.

A mini-computer is a small and neat notebook PC designed to act as a supplement to your regular computer. They are cheap to buy but they are not very good performance. The purpose of the mini-computer is that you can take it with you anywhere, and use the area are mainly Internet applications - hence the namenetbook.

Most mini-PCs run today with Windows XP operating system. Of course you can install whatever software you want, but it will not go particularly fast to run the latest version of Adobe Photoshop for example.

Samsung, unlike several competitors got a place with the mouse buttons below the plate instead of next, which is positive.Personally I do not like when the mouse buttons are located on opposite sides of the trackpad - it is cumbersome to work with.

I really liked the Samsung NC10. It is a good buy, if you are looking for an inexpensive mini-computer of this size. The computer feels solid built, and it has several advantages, with the excellent keyboard and touchpad, and not least the long battery life.

2. Acer Aspire One A150-B

The series Aspire One from Acer has a wide range of models, among which A150-B is most popular. It has a screen of 8.9 inches which is really, really good. The screen is the LED model and a high gloss, which delivers razor-sharp picture comparatively.The keyboard is very nice to write on, but the trackpad is the problem I mentioned above, the mouse buttons sit on either side. It is well to add that this is a matter of taste.

To sum it all I can say I am more than happy with my purchase, the computer arrives easily into a school bag or the inner pocket of his coat. Visually, it is really delicious and actually feels quite sturdy - unlike the Eee PC, which I think feels pretty plasticky.

3. MSI Wind U100

Mini computer from MSI has received good praise ever since it arrived. Nowadays it can be hard to come by, but as I wrote above, it is all mini computers in this segment so similar to an "older" model is not inferior to a newer - the specifications are generally the same. MSI Wind is a well-built 10-incher, which gives a good impression. It is simply a good buy.

4. Asus Eee PC 901

When I would buy a small laptop, I decided long and hard before I settled on the Asus Eee PC 901, but I chose Go-model, which has built-in 3G modem. Eee PC 901 is very small, with a screen of 8.9 inches and the tiny keyboard. It takes some practice to write on it but this is offset by the petite size. Bringing the computer is never a problem. Samsung release the stylish monitor with 3D support

Samsung's new monitors 2233RZ comes with 3D support, which literally adds an extra dimension to video games. Along with games that support the technology it is possible to get "real" 3D graphics.

Review: Samsung NC10 - a really nice mini-computer

Samsung NC10 is one part, no mini-computer that stands out, but on the other hand, they have succeeded in really nice with small details that make your computer a good choice.

After I have extracted the Samsung NC10 , I note that there is a mini computer (netbook) I might like. The computer is in black and white, and I've tried is the black. The top is in piano black lacquer, while the indoor unit, the keyboard and screen, is in matte black.

NC10 has a screen of 10.2 inches and is therefore larger than my private Asus Eee PC 901Go . I will not disguise the fact that I like the tiny size 901Go have, but I can see the benefits of choosing a slightly larger model NC10. Foremost is the keyboardthat wins it, then it is almost full size. The keys are comfortable to type on and the buttons are positioned correctly, otherwise this is a problem with many mini-computers, which had to squish them to fit.

Samsung has chosen to run with a matte screen . Personally, I prefer this type, because I like the option gloss reflect too much. However, I fully agree that high-gloss screens - among others, the HP Mini-Note and Acer Aspire One - gives much better image, with brighter colors and better contrast. Betrakningsvinkeln is no big shots on the NC10 and it shows that there is a true inexpensive LCD panel. However, it is not a big problem when you sit at your computer.

Windows 7 may be higher prices in Europe

Windows 7 will get a higher price in Europe than it receives in the United States. It now says Microsoft and the reason is the ruling by the European Court of Justice that constrain it to Europe-friendly Windows 7.

SLOW PCfighter costs about 150 dollars a year . There is not much, but it is 150 dollars more than what many of the competitors cost. CCleaner is a classic that often wins the tests, and it also solves your spam problem. Combine this with turning off unnecessary auto-start programs using AutoRuns . Then you will notice a difference on your computer's speed.

That said, SLOW-PC fighter is bad. It is not. But I highly doubt that it is worth paying for such a function, when there are so many good free programs .
