Review: Samsung NC10 - a really nice mini-computer

Samsung NC10 is one part, no mini-computer that stands out, but on the other hand, they have succeeded in really nice with small details that make your computer a good choice.

After I have extracted the Samsung NC10 , I note that there is a mini computer (netbook) I might like. The computer is in black and white, and I've tried is the black. The top is in piano black lacquer, while the indoor unit, the keyboard and screen, is in matte black.

NC10 has a screen of 10.2 inches and is therefore larger than my private Asus Eee PC 901Go . I will not disguise the fact that I like the tiny size 901Go have, but I can see the benefits of choosing a slightly larger model NC10. Foremost is the keyboardthat wins it, then it is almost full size. The keys are comfortable to type on and the buttons are positioned correctly, otherwise this is a problem with many mini-computers, which had to squish them to fit.

Samsung has chosen to run with a matte screen . Personally, I prefer this type, because I like the option gloss reflect too much. However, I fully agree that high-gloss screens - among others, the HP Mini-Note and Acer Aspire One - gives much better image, with brighter colors and better contrast. Betrakningsvinkeln is no big shots on the NC10 and it shows that there is a true inexpensive LCD panel. However, it is not a big problem when you sit at your computer.

Samsung NC10 and hardware

New digital cameras from Sony, Cyber-shot W220, W210 and S950

Sony releases three new models in its Cyber-shot series of digital cameras, with the names W210,  W220 and S950.  The first two targeted towards beginners.

Sony Cyber-shot W210 and W220 is based on the Carl Zeiss optics, as in so many other digital cameras from Sony, and deliver images at 12.1 megapixels. The cameras have optical zoom of 4x. The cameras can handle up to ISO 3200 and there are features for recognizing faces and smiles to take pictures in the perfect location.

Cyber-shot W210 is available in silver, black, pink and green, while the W220 is available in silver, black, pink and blue. They launched in the market in March and receive a prize of 2,300 crowns each in 2600 dollars.

The third model is the Sony Cyber-shot S950, which is an entry-level model aimed at those who wish to obtain a first digital camera. S950 takes pictures in 10.1 megapixels and optical zoom of 4x. The interface provides many features that are easy to use and make it easy to shoot without having to fiddle with settings.

Cyber-shot S950 will cost 1700 dollars when it will be in stores in March.

Windows 7 may be higher prices in Europe

Windows 7 will get a higher price in Europe than it receives in the United States. It now says Microsoft and the reason is the ruling by the European Court of Justice that constrain it to Europe-friendly Windows 7.

Windows 7 will be launched in Sweden on October 31 , and there are many who look forward to the critically acclaimed operating system. There seems to be less expensive than Windows Vista did when it launched, but now claims to Microsoft be forced to raise the price - for us in Europe.

The reason is that the European Court of Justice condemned Microsoft for infringement of competition when the former chose to include the Internet Explorer into the operating system. Then there were many other developers of Web browsers that struck rear. By embedding Internet Explorer in Windows Microsoft made it difficult for third party developers to get users over to their browsers.

Now, Microsoft will make a special European version of Windows 7 . During the installation process of the operating system, users will be able to choose to install Internet Explorer, Firefox or another browser.

The price increase, however, only those who buy Windows 7 over the counter. The increase is as Metro of approximately 200-800 SEK depending on the version of Windows 7, you choose to acquire. There are six different versions of the OS.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1, a small smooth SLR

The so-called "Micro Four Thirds" technology has made it possible to make smaller digital SLR. Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1 is a successor to the DMC-G1 and the news is shooting a movie in HD video 1080 resolution.

SLOW PCfighter costs about 150 dollars a year . There is not much, but it is 150 dollars more than what many of the competitors cost. CCleaner is a classic that often wins the tests, and it also solves your spam problem. Combine this with turning off unnecessary auto-start programs using AutoRuns . Then you will notice a difference on your computer's speed.

That said, SLOW-PC fighter is bad. It is not. But I highly doubt that it is worth paying for such a function, when there are so many good free programs .
